Dianne Larue Emery, 65, of Indianapolis and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
She was born Crawfordsville on July 12, 1956, to the late John E. and Ruth (Yater) Larson.
She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1974. She married the love of her life, Steven Michael Emery. He preceded her in death March 6, 2019. She retired from RR Donnelleyā€™s after 30 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping and spending time with her family. She loved her pets and accompanying her husband on any outdoor adventure, hiking, fishing and canoeing. She always made sure her hummingbird feeders were full.
Survivors include her brother, John (Lucinda) Larson of Indianapolis; and two uncles, Vic (Janice) Larson of Lafayette and Jack (Susie) Larson of Crawfordsville
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Steven
Visitation will at Sanders Shoemaker Funeral Care, 202 Bratton Road in Waynetown on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 noon, with Chaplain Mike Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Sanders Shoemaker Funeral Care is entrusted with care.
