March for Life on Market Street
This event is held every year in conjunction with the anniversary of Roe v Wade.
Saturday at 4 p.m., the annual March for Life will take place beginning at the Women’s Resource Center at 407 E. Market Street in Crawfordsville. This event is held every year in conjunction with the anniversary of Roe v Wade.
The event will begin with a “baby shower” for the center with the collection of diapers, baby clothes and other items. The march will begin from there and proceed to the intersection of Washington and Market Street for a peaceful and prayer filled witness to the sanctity of life.
The event will conclude with a chili supper fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, 4636 Fall Creek Road with all proceeds going to the Women’s Resource Center. Folks are invited to bring their best pot of chili for the chili cook off. Participants will cast their vote for the best chili by making a donation.
