Rachel L. Gardner

March 26, 1949 – Feb. 6, 2022

Rachel L. Gardner, Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday Feb. 6th at home. She was 72.

Born March 26, 1949 in Crawfordsville she was the daughter of the late Everett Lutes and Barbara (Ralph) Vaughn.

She married Jack Gardner on June 10, 1972. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2021.

She had been a realtor and enjoyed drawing, wood burning and bowling. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

Survivors includeher sons, Lonnie Wayne (Rose) Coffenberry of Crawfordsville, Shawn Eugene (Melanie) Gardner of Crawfordsville, Bradwick Allen (Karri) Gardner of New Market and Chadwick Allen (Summer) Gardner of Crawfordsville; eleven grandchildren, Brandon, Javan (Susanna), Skyler (Rebecca), Vyctoria, Blake, Slayde, Lilly, Creed, Victoria, Angel and Victoria; and eight great-grandchildren.

No public services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
