NFIB applauds governor, legislative leadership on tax refund
NFIB State Director Barbara Quandt applauded Gov. Eric Holcomb and House and Senate leadership for their plan to provide $125 tax refunds.
“That works out to about a 12.5% one-time tax cut for the average taxpayer,” Quandt said. “And they couldn’t have found a better time of year to announce Hoosiers will get a little extra money at tax time.
“With state tax collections bringing in more revenue in 2021 than was expected, our hope is that the legislature and Governor Holcomb will look at additional tax cuts or refunds that allow working families and small business owners to keep more of the money they earn.”
