Henry Eugene “Woody” Woodrum, 48, Roachdale, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville.
He was born in Clinton on Aug. 9, 1973 to Henry Lee Woodrum and Kaleen (Andrew) Woodrum.
Mr. Woodrum graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1991 and throughout the years worked as a welder for Phoenix, Fleetwood and was currently at NewJac Inc. in Lebanon. He also worked at Midwest/Extreme Racing as a track official. He loved riding his Harley and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and doing tree work. Mr. Woodrum was a friend to everyone, never knew a stranger and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his mother, Kaleen Woodrum; his two sisters, Sandy (Delbert) Woodrum and Rita (Terrel) Furr; his girlfriend, Melissa Moore; a son, Gage Zeller; many nieces and nephews; and his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lee; his sister, Mary McCollum; and his previous significant other, Debbie Poynter.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 from 11 a.m. till the time of the Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m., with Celebrant Gabriella Chapin officiating. The service will be recorded which can be viewed on his obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com Burial will follow at Rush Creek Cemetery in Tangier.
