Registration Closing on Thursday for Mental Health First Aid Workshop

Time is running out to register for the May 5 Mental Health First Aid workshop open to any parent, teacher, provider, first responder, or interested individual offered by United Way partner agency Volunteers for Mental Health in Montgomery County in conjunction with Purdue University.

The program focuses on identifying mental health challenges in youth and providing approaches to assist the young person. The program will be held at Hoosier Heartland State Bank’s Success Center, 1623 US-231, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

Registration closes on Thursday, April 21. The registration fee of $20.00 includes the training, all materials, snacks, and lunch. To access the registration portal, visit https://cvent.me/zkAaNw. A short-cut on the VMHMC website (vmhmc.org) may also be used. Some scholarships are available.
