Janice Smith Celebrates 20 Years In Dermatology

Dr. Linda Spencer and Pinnacle Dermatology announced the 20 year work anniversary for dermatology office manager Janice Smith.

Smith has guided the local dermatology practice and their patients through multiple changes during her 20 years of service, including new dermatology treatment options, changes in the health insurance industry, the move to a larger office location, onboarding of several new providers, the transition to electronic medical records, the 2018 merger with Pinnacle Dermatology, and facility changes necessitated by the pandemic.

She has shared her experience and knowledge with other dermatology office managers through the Association of Dermatology Administrators and Managers (ADAM), for whom she has held multiple leadership positions including President from 2020 to 2022. She also represented the organization during several meetings with members of Congress in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

“Janice has been invaluable in creating a caring and efficient work environment, treating our patients like family, finding new ways to streamline front office operations, and supporting the professional growth of others who have worked with her. I am proud of all she has accomplished on behalf of our dermatology practice and in her years of service to her professional organization, ADAM,” said Dr. Linda Spencer.
