Community Christmas Dinner

A strong community allows us to endure. WE are strengthened by charitable works. This is a call to those who are looking for ways to give back to the community. Francis and Mount is hosting a Community Christmas Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 25 at 12 – 3 p.m. The dinner will be located at 1905 Lebanon Road at Family Baptist Family Life Center. Francis and Mount needs your help to continue this tradition. After years and sometimes decades of service, we have several volunteers who would like to pass the torch to future community servants. These jobs include delivery drivers, prep cooks, starch and veg preparation cooks, delivery meal assembly, buffet attendant and clean up crew.

Last year, Isaac Weliver trained with Former Chairperson and Culinary GodMother, Joyce Fitzwater. Joyce served as Chairperson from 2010-2021.

This year, Isaac has the honor of serving the community as Chairperson of the Christmas Dinner. His mother, Christie (Wilson) Weliver transitioned from this life to the next on Christmas 2017. He volunteers on Christmas in remembrance of her.
