Jeremy Mark Pruett

Jeremy Mark Pruett, age 40 of Crawfordsville/Waynetown, died 2:37 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 11, 2023, from injuries sustained in an motor vehicle accident on State Road 25 near Wingate.

He was born in Lafayette, May 6, 1982 the son of the late Vera ‘Shelly’ Vansickle Pruett and John Pruett who survives.

He was a graduate of Southmont High School. He was currently employed by SIA (Subaru of Indiana Automotive) of Lafayette. He was formerly employed by Froedge’s Inc, Bane-Welker and Cargill.

He had a huge heart and would drop what he was doing to help someone out. He enjoyed farming, working on cars and trucks and being outdoors. He had a knack for building and fixing things mechanical.

Survivors include his father, John (Jennifer) Pruett of Crawfordsville; his children; Jaden Mikael, Jalynn Nicole, Audrie Jo and Korie Leigh; his ‘significant other’ Ashely E. Bacon of Crawfordsville and her children; Jaedynn Christine, Kaylincz Raneigh, Cambryia Allesyon & Eastynn Charles Michael; two sisters, Megan Reneee (Michael) Mell and Jessica Lynn (Luis) Hernandez-Blanco both of Crawfordsville; brother, Jacob Alan Pruett of Crawfordsville; and grandmother, Beverly A. Riley Vansickle of Waynetown. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, John Vansickle, Gerald Pruett and Donna Pruett.

Visitation hours are scheduled 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2023 with funeral services 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 17, 2023 all at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Brian Saunders officiating.
