Local Man Arrested For Child Pornography
On Nov. 18, 2022, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an online account that contained videos of child pornography. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that the account belonged to Randall McIntyre, 59, of Crawfordsville.
On Jan. 11, 2023, search warrants were executed and several electronic devices belonging to McIntyre were seized. McIntyre was interviewed, and subsequently, arrested for Possession of Child Pornography, Level 5 Felony, and Child Exploitation, Level 4 Felony, with additional charges pending.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and conducts investigations into the online exploitation of children. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Crawfordsville Police Department.
McIntyre posted a $3,000 dollar cash bond and was released from custody and has a court date in late January.
