Patricia Ruth Snow

June 3, 1934 – Feb. 23, 2023

Patricia Ruth Snow was born with a spirit of optimism, and she stepped out of this life the same way. She received her Savior as a child and met him face to face Thursday Morning, Feb. 23, 2023. She loved her Lord, her family, and all the children she was blessed to have the opportunity to care for and serve. She loved her sisters in Christ. Pat was happiest when she was planning and conducting the American Baptist women’s retreats. They were a joy for her and all who were lucky enough to attend. She also held many offices with American Baptist Women.

She was born on June 3, 1934 in Chattanooga, TN to Bruce and Edna (Barrett) Long. Patricia married Claud Snow on June 15, 1956 in Chicago, IL. After moving to Crawfordsville in 1972, she served as office manager for Dr. Dailey and Crawfordsville Schools. She also enjoyed the staff and her time with All Smiles Dental office.

Patricia was a long-time member of First Baptist Church and delighted in all of the children’s ministries. In recent years, she was a member of New Market Baptist Church and continued to serve as long as she was able.

Her family was the light of her life. Pat is survived by her children, Robert Snow (Jonna), Susan Streetman Biddle (Bryan) and Julie Randles (Todd); 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Claud; daughters, Sharon Snow and Deborah Snow Lawrence; grandson, Jacob Randles; and siblings, Jack Long and Ann Partin.

Pat Snow was the definition of strength in adversity and unconditional love. She always chose to find a reason to smile. She was often teased about her rose-colored glasses, but we always knew the truth. She chose to look for good. She chose to love and laugh.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023 from 4-8 pm at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be private with burial at Oak Hill South Cemetery in Crawfordsville.

Donations in her memory may be made to the children of Crawfordsville Community Schools, ATTN: Donna Wilson, 705 Wallace Avenue, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Share memories and condolences at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
