Nedra Sue (Bowman) Gunn

Nedra Sue (Bowman) Gunn, age 62 of Veedersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Crawfordsville on October 10, 1960 to Larry Bowman & Patricia (Barker) Sharp.

Nedra graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1979 and married the love of her life, Mark Gunn on August 18, 1984 in their backyard of their home in Mace, Indiana. Nedra worked at Banjo Industries in Crawfordsville till she got pregnant with their twins, and then stayed at home to be a loving, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a tough, strong-willed, and determined woman; despite her health battles, she always persevered. She will be remembered for her loving kindness and her witty sense of humor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Gunn of Veedersburg; her twin daughters, Ashley (Andy) House of Coos Bay, Oregon and Andrea (Nick) Balmer of Veedersburg; four grandchildren, Brayden Gunn, Mason Balmer, Adalynn Balmer, and Adrian Balmer; her mother, Patricia (Boyd) Sharp of Kingman; two brothers, Neil Bowman of Kingman and Eric (Jennifer) Bowman of Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Bowman; a brother, Randy Bowman; paternal grandparents, Arista & Minnie Bowman; and maternal grandparents, Ralph & Helen Barker.
