This Week’s Senior Golf Results

Weather has been warming up and so have our senior golfers. This week’s results are in and this round was as close as they come with the four-man team of Steve House, Les Clardy, Bill Boone and Mike Dozier shooting 8-under-par to take first place in weekly play. Steve Priest, Greg Simpson and John Welliever were only ONE shot back at 7-under-par!

Priest and Frank Phelps won proxies on Nos. 14 and 6 respectively. And the Long Drive by an 80-year-old or older honor went to House.

Harry Leon Wilson said, “Golf is a good walk spoiled,” but these men show just how wrong that statement is and inspire others to want to get on the cart and enjoy a few rounds.
