County Road 600 E. And County Road 625 W. To Close

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces County Road 600 E. will close over I-74, along with Co. Rd. 625 W. over I-74 for bridge work starting on or after Thursday, July 13.

Co. Rd. 600 E. will close approximately 1.75 miles east of State Road 32 near Mace, between Co. Rd. 100 S. and Walters Lane. The official detour utilizes Co. Rd. 600 E. and to Co. Rd. 100 S. to Nucor Rd. It’s expected to reopen after mid-August, weather permitting.

Co. Rd. 625 W. will close approximately 2.53 miles east of S.R. 25. near Waynetown, between Co. Rd. 350 N. and Co. Rd. 450 N. The official detour utilizes Co. Rd. 625 N. to Co. Rd. 450 N. to S.R. 25 to U.S. 136 to Co. Rd. 650 W. It’s also expected to reopen after mid-August, weather permitting.

This contract was awarded to Pioneer Associates, Inc. It involves bridge work on six different bridges in Boone, Hendricks, Tippecanoe and Montgomery County. The contractor plans to close and work on two bridges at a time. INDOT will notify the public prior to the additional bridge closures included in this contract, which is scheduled to be fully completed in late August of 2023.
