Jacquelyn “Jackie” Winifred (Schultz) Crumm, age 98 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was born in Gosport, Indiana on September 11, 1924 to the late Oscar & Edith (Edwards) Schultz.

Jackie attended 1st grade in Gosport, 2nd grade in a one room school house in Lowpose, 3rd grade in Quency, 4th grade in Gosport, 5th-8th grade in Cloverdale and graduated from New Ross High School in 1943. She worked in the office at Allison’s during WWII and was a loving mother, homemaker, and farm wife. On December 29, 1946 she married the love of her life, Damon Paddack Crumm, who preceded her in death on December 4, 2005. She was a member of the Mace United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, and helping her husband on the farm.

She is survived by her 2 sons, David Dennis (Janet) Crumm and Phillip Lee Crumm, both of Crawfordsville; 5 grandchildren, Stacy (Greg) Miller, Robin (Jason) Cox, Nicole (Matt) Hester, Andrea (Thomas) Flaherty, and Amiee (Mike) Yohe; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Damon; her sister, Carolyn Branstetter; 2 brothers, Stanley Schultz and James Schultz; and a grandson, Ryan Matthew Crumm.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 11:00 am till the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Tami Mussche officiating.
