Mark Twain Is Coming To MDT!

MDT is thrilled to bring you our first Theatre for Young Audiences production of 2023, Twain’s Tale of Tom and Huck! It is a wonderful adaptation of Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer written by Georgette Kleier. We are guided through this familiar classic by none other than Mark Twain himself. The cast will feature all MDT veterans. Included will be Don Hart (Mark Twain), Matthew Porter (Tom Sawyer), Cooper Fitch (Huckleberry Finn), Love Ruddell (Becky Thatcher), Jamie Rediger (Aunt Polly), Trent Mosty (Judge Thatcher/Doc Robinson), Henry Allan (Muff Potter), Eli Miller (Sidney), and Matthew Hawkins (Joe). This TYA musical, with music and lyrics by Bill Corcoran, is sure to bring lots of laughter and enjoyment to your students and give them a fresh take on a well-known story of friendship and integrity.

Twain’s Tale of Tom and Huck opens Thursday, July 6th, and will feature Thursday and Friday matinee performances through July 21st. The matinee seating is at 11:30 a.m. with the performance at 1:00 p.m. A sack lunch will be provided. Ticket Prices for our TYA shows are Adults ($20.00 + tax) and Students ($15.00 + tax). Myers Dinner Theatre is located at 108 Water St in Hillsboro, IN and is handicap accessible.
