Rodney James Roberts

Rodney James Roberts, age 63, of Crawfordsville, passed away on September 7, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 23, 1959, in Indianapolis, to the late James Junior and Clydora Belle (Kelly) Roberts.

Rodney graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1978 and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for 8 years. Rodney married Deborah Ann Whit on April 17, 1992; she preceded him in death on December 30, 2019. He spent countless hours tinkering under the hood of cars. Rodney enjoyed building bird houses and playing PlayStation 3.

Rodney is survived by his sisters, Lillian Roberts and Ruthanne Brownfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deborah; sister Rosetta Wood; and brother, Leslie James Roberts.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington Street, in Crawfordsville on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kyle Strauser officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North with Military Honors by the United States National Guard and The American Legion Post 72 Honor Guard. Sanders Priebe Funeral Care is entrusted with care.
