Athens Arts Offers Painting With Felt

Painting with felt! What fun!

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a beautiful piece of felted art! We are all artists and we will share easy yet challenging techniques a beginner or experienced felter will enjoy.

We will be spending our two hours together creating a project which can become a piece of jewelry, hanging art or wherever your creativity leads you! We will be offering a large variety of colors of fleece, several kinds of needles and a mat on which to felt. In our experience, the actual needle felting process encourages expressiveness, so, let’s have at it!

Supplies will be furnished by teachers, Sarah and Cathie Laska.  You will learn about fabric felting as well as have a new piece of art for your own enjoyment.

The class will be on Thursday, April 4.  Choose either an afternoon session (1-3 p.m.) or an evening session (6-8 p.m.).  The class is open to anyone 12 years and older at a cost of $35. Classes meet at Athens Arts, 216 E. Main St. in beautiful downtown Crawfordsville.
