Danny William Phillips

Danny William Phillips, age 83 of Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Hickory Creek at Crawfordsville. He was born in Crawfordsville on November 27, 1940 to the late Virgil and Catherine (Manion) Phillips.

Danny attended Crawfordsville High School and through the years worked at PR Mallory’s, was the superintendent at Cloverdale Development, and retired from the maintenance department at Wabash College.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, and was the treasurer for many years of the Crawfordsville gun club. 

He is survived by his daughter, Vicky Brown; four grandchildren, Megan, Patrick, Cheyne, and Summer Rain; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger (Alice) Phillips and Dennis (Kathy) Phillips; a sister, Carolyn Grayson; sister-in-law, Donna Phillips; and several nieces and nephews, Kimberli (Dave) Ranard, Kelly (Jamie) Phillips, Korey (Andrea) Phillips, Jeremy (Casey) Phillips, Amanda (Jeff) Morris, and Kirk Grayson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy Phillips; a brother, Rex Phillips; and a brother-in-law, Burl Grayson.

Cremation was chosen with graveside service at the Oak Hill Cemetery Cremation Garden, 392 Oak Hill Road in Crawfordsville on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 am. Share memories and condolences online at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
