Mocktail Monday Proves Sobriety Can Be Life of the Party

You don’t need alcohol to have a good time — and Monday, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at The Stables Event Center in Lafayette, will prove it.

Mocktail Monday, hosted by Mental Health America–Wabash Valley Region and presented by River Bend Hospital, is back with a bold message: sobriety and social connection go hand in hand, and our community is all in.

This year, 11 local establishments that usually serve alcohol are stepping up to craft unique mocktails, showing that fun, flavor, and friendship don’t depend on alcohol. Attendees can see the full list of participating bars and restaurants at MocktailMonday.org.

Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski and West Lafayette Mayor Erin Easter are fully behind the event, standing alongside MHA-WVR to show that when one person recovers, we all win.

“Our Let’s Talk Peer Support program has grown immensely since we launched it four years ago,” said Brandi Christiansen, President & CEO of MHA-WVR. “The need in our community is undeniable, and this event fuels our ability to meet people where they are, walk alongside them in recovery, and provide hope when it’s needed most.”

Funds raised from Mocktail Monday fuel MHA-WVR’s award-winning Certified Peer Support program, Let’s Talk, where peers—people who’ve lived through recovery themselves—help others on their journey. This life-saving work has earned local recognition as among the best peer support services in Indiana.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at MocktailMonday.org
