Hole ‘N’ One!!!

The best feeling for a golfer might be watching the ball from tee box to green fly straight and true . . . and in the hole.

Well, for Dan Welliever, a former teacher and coach at Crawfordsville High School, that happened recently. Welliever recorded hit his first hole-in-one. The ace came on No. 13 at Coyote Crossing in Lafayette. There was no word on what the yardage or club was, but the shot was witnessed by Alan Froedge, Bill Sheldon and Jack Phillips.

We’re also not sure what day it was, but if it was Friday the 13th and happened on No. 13, we wonder if Welliever is superstitious!
