Community Comes Together in Day of Service

United Way in Montgomery County, the Community Foundation, Wabash College, the City of Crawfordsville, the Crawfordsville Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Leadership Academy are partnering to create a Community Day of Service on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Activities begin at 8:30 a.m. at Pike Place.

This special day is all about coming together to make a positive impact in our community. Here’s what to expect:

8:30–9 a.m.: Light Breakfast & Opening Remarks
Breakfast sponsored by Athens Chapter 97, Order of the Eastern Star

9-Noon: Volunteering at Community Locations

That’s it. Pretty simple and anyone and everyone is encouraged to get involved. You can join a volunteer team, sponsor a project location, help spread the word, offer resources or simply show up ready to help.

Together, everyone can create a culture of giving back and making an impact! Let’s work hand in hand to strengthen our community and create lasting change.
