CSX Honors Crawfordsville

City and County governments are beaming with pride today after achieving a major milestone in economic development. The Wiley Connell Site has been awarded Silver distinction through CSX’s Select Site Program, a competitive initiative focused on community growth, readiness and regional alignment. Jonathan Gemmen of Austin Consulting and Adam Hess of CSX presented the official plaque to local leaders. This recognition is “not the touchdown in the end zone, but a celebratory milestone for year one,” Gemmen said. The achievement reflects the strong collaboration between city, county and regional partners, and city officials say it signals that Crawfordsville is well-positioned for future investment and opportunity.
