  1. Consent Agenda
    • Approval of Claims:  April 25, 2022 to May 9, 2022
    • Approval of Meeting Minutes:   April 25, 2022
    • Highway Department – 2021 Annual Operational Report – Commissioners acknowledged receipt of the annual operations report and it will be submitted to the State.
  2. New Business
    • DES Work Order Agreement
      1. Approved.
      2. Agreement between the City of Crawfordsville & Montgomery County to share expenses of annual soil testing at the landfill performed by DES. The total amount is $22,067.23 and each entity will pay 50% of the costs of the agreement.
    • Commitment Letter for Nucor-Tempur Corridor Water Project
      1. Approved.
      2. The County has received a $3 million State grant to help fund the extension of water lines along Nucor Road to Comfort Drive. In order to utilize the grant, the County is required to provide a funding commitment letter to the State. The letter indicates Montgomery County’s commitment to financially support the Nucor Tempur Corridor Water Project as follows: Bond: $7,177,000; ARPA funds- $3,700,000; Indiana American Water Rate Increase: $1,623,000. The total amount for the County’s commitment is $12,500,000.

    1. Final Reading:  Ordinance 2022-16: Updating Flood Plain Ordinance –
      • Approved.
      • Updated information including: Critical facilities language protection; Repetitive loss; Timing of elevation certificates on construction process; Clean fill requirements; Subdivision standards for SFHA
    1. Introduction: Ordinance 2022-19:   Establish PSC Vet Court Grant Fund –
      • Introduced.
      • The $8,000.00 grant provides funding for the Veteran Treatment Court Program, specifically $4,000 for Training/Travel, $1,000 Participant Incentives, $2,000 Chemical Tests, $550 Transportation, $450 Emergency Housing/Housing Assistance. This grant runs from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
    1. Introduction: Ordinance 2022-20:   Establish PSC Drug Court Grant Fund –
      • Introduced.
      • The $8,000.00 grant provides funding for the Drug Court Program, specifically $2,760 for Training/Travel, $1,200 Participant Incentives, $2,800 Chemical Tests, $800 Treatment, $440 Emergency Housing/Housing Assistance.  This grant runs from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
