Ronny Lee Gossel, 83, of Roachdale, passed away on April 1, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Ind.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1937 in Roachdale, Ind. to the late Floyd and Ruth (Steen) Gossel. On Nov. 30, 1956 in Raccoon he married Joyce (Duncan) Gossel, she survives.
Mr. Gossel graduated from Richland High School in 1955. He worked at Harrison Steel in Attica and then LinkBelt in Indianapolis, where he retired in 1999 after 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, sports, going to his grandkid’s sporting events, traveling, motorcycles, riding horses in his younger years and was an avid Yankees fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; children, Darrell (Vicki) Gossel and Diana (Michael) Poole; grandchildren, Brian, Brooke, Kayla, Graham and Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Evelyn Ruth, Madilyn Paige and Molli Kai.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, William Glenn.
Funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington Street, Roachdale, IN 46172. He will be laid to rest in Roachdale Cemetery at a later date. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Servies & Morgan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
