United Way Director Wins Great Montgomery County Scavenger Hunt

The Great Montgomery County Scavenger Hunt, 2022, has come to an end – with one winner and a bunch of good tries.

Gina Haile, the area director for Montgomery County United Way, finished first in the contest. Gina correctly answered all 10 questions, the only person out of 117 entries to do so.

“It was so much fun,” Haile told The Paper. “I learned a lot about our community and really enjoyed trying to find answers to all the questions. I Googled them, but didn’t always get the answers. There were a couple that were pretty hard to find.”

Haile won $100 for finishing first!

The Paper unveiled the contest for the month of May. Throughout the month, clues were given and participants had to try to find the answers. Unlike other scavenger hunts and promotions, no one had to physically get anything. They just had to find the answers and report them back to The Paper.
