Salvation Army Of Montgomery County Needs Bell Ringers

The Salvation Army of Montgomery County will kick off the annual Red Kettle Campaign on Friday, Nov. 18 and will continue through Dec. 24. Volunteers are needed to ring the bell at both Walmart and Kroger, Thursday through Saturday. Businesses, churches, community organizations, school groups, individuals, and families who want to make a difference in Montgomery County are encouraged to ring the bell. Ringing takes place from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and ringers are asked to commit to ringing for two hours. Groups can sign up for entire days or part of days.

The money raised in Montgomery County remains in the county and will be used to provide assistance to those in need in the community throughout 2023. Thus far over 300 individuals have been assisted in 2022. Services offered include assistance for food, clothing, utilities, medication, rent, and disaster relief as well as other crisis-related needs. It is our hope that services can grow but volunteers are needed this season to raise the funds needed to provide these services.

Those interested in ringing the bell can sign up by contacting Clay Adams at 765-376-7194 or by registering online at www.registertoring.com.

The Salvation Army of Montgomery County and your community thank you.
