Deloris Ann Cotton

April 22, 1943 – June 21, 2022

Deloris Ann Cotten, 79, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2022, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. 

She was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., on April 22, 1943, the daughter of Cyril T. and Virginia F. Mahaska. 

She married Donald H. Cotten on Oct. 11, 1985, and he survives. 

She had worked for Crown Cork and Seal, as well as the Moose Lodge for many years.  She and her husband, Donald, loved going to flea markets and had an Antique business for several years. 

Survivors include her sister, Pamela Dickerson of Dayton, Ind; her daughters, Victoria Brown of Waveland, Ind., Michelle (David) O’Hair of Martinsville, Ind. and Jennifer (Mark) Nicholson of Mansfield, Ga.; her stepsons, Thomas Cotton of Mississippi, Ronald Cotton of Crawfordsville, Ind.  and Timothy Cotton of New Market, Ind.  Also surviving are several loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Phillips; a stepson, John Cotten; her sister Janet Hoskins; and brothers, Cyril Jr., Charles and James Mahaska.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery North (Cremation Garden).  Friends may call 3:30 – 4 p.m. at the cemetery with burial to follow.
